MiDO Group was founded by Dale Simons, whose career in ICT and passion for social impact shaped the organisation’s mission.

With a background in Mechanical Engineering and advanced studies in Project Management and Executive Development, Dale is a technology leader who drives innovation.

What began as a way to solve technical problems and manage IT projects has grown into something far greater: creating meaningful digital career pathways for young people. Over more than a decade, Dale has built the MiDO Group alongside like-minded colleagues and partners, establishing MiDO technologies in 2012, MiDO Foundation in 2016, and MiDO Academy in 2023.

Dale’s vision remains clear: to bridge the digital divide by combining innovation, training, and transformation, ensuring that technology becomes a tool for empowerment and lasting social change
